Massoud Jafari Jozani, born in 1327 in Malayer, has a master’s degree in filmmaking from San Francisco State University. Jafari Jozani is a lasting figure in Iranian cinema and one of the pioneers of post-revolutionary cinema. Cold Roads, Stone Lion, In the Path of Storm, Maturity and the huge TV series In the Eye of the Wind are some of the important works of this cinematographer. As an academic figure, Jafari Jozani has taught cinema and graphics in the United States, as well as teaching at the Faculty of Arts, University of Tehran, the Faculty of Radio and Television, and the Bagh Ferdows Film School.

Majid Entezami was born in 1326 in Tehran and graduated from the Berlin Conservatory. After returning to Iran, he was employed by the Tehran Symphony Orchestra and began teaching at the University of Tehran and the Higher Conservatory of Music from that year. He has written the soundtrack for more than one hundred cinematic works and has won the award in the field of film music by receiving 4 Crystal Simorghs. Entezami is one of the winners of the 8th Conference of Immortal Figures in 1389, and in 1393, he received the Medal of Honor as a jihadist in the field of culture and art.

Seyed Shahabuddin Hosseini was born in 1973 in Tehran. He studied psychology and started his career in 1998 in the field of theater, television and cinema. The actor has been acclaimed in various international forums and festivals, for works such as “About Ellie”, “Rare Separation from Simin” and “Seller” in recent years, in addition to acting, directing and co-producing with foreign countries. has done. In 2008, Hosseini received the Crystal Simorgh Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Fajr Film Festival for his role in the film Superstar. At the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, he won the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in The Salesman, directed by Asghar Farhadi. He also won the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival with the cast of Rare Separation from Simin.

Mohammad Ali Basheh Ahangar Born in 1341 in Dezful, Mohammad Ali Basheh studied cinema (directing) at the Faculty of Cinema and Theater of the University of Arts and began his artistic career by making and acting in several plays. He has written and directed several short films, documentaries, TV series and several feature films, and has been acclaimed and received numerous awards for his films Child of the Earth, Queen and Cypress Underwater. At the 16th Cinema House Festival, the Queen won ten statues, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.

Mohammad Davoodi, born in 1337 in Tehran, is the director of cinematography and a graduate of the Higher School of Television and Cinema. In addition to filming such works as “Color of God” directed by Majid Majidi and “Birth of a Butterfly” directed by Mojtaba Rai, his activities include teaching filmmaking and filmmaking courses, managing the filming unit of the Radio and Television until the mid-seventies, and producing. He directed and filmed sixteen documentaries and judged at various festivals.

Mehdi Sajjadehchi, born in 1940 in Tehran, began his professional career in 1989 with the film “Patal and Little Dreams” and works such as The Third Day, The Rule of the Game, The Invisible Man, Demerl and Sophie and the Crazy are among the most important works of this screenwriter. He is the president of the Iranian Cinema Screenwriters Association.

Pejman Lashkaripour was born in 1975 in Tehran and graduated from the University of Tehran with a degree in political science and law and graduated in film directing and editing. He started his artistic activity in 1373 and is currently a regular member of the Iranian Cinema Critics and Writers Association. He has also collaborated in the production of the films “Toxic Mushroom” and “Father’s Farm” by Rasoul Mollaqlipour, “Ch” and “Bodyguard” by Ebrahim Hatamikia.

The 40th Fajr Film Festival will be held in two cultural and competitive sections from February 3 to 5 under the auspices of “Masoud Naghashzadeh”.
