The Minister of Cultural Heritage arrived in Sanandaj


According to Moj Kurdistan news agency, Seyyed Ezzatullah Zarghami today – Saturday, the fourth of September – at the same time as Government week He visited Marivan in Kurdistan province to visit several landmark tourism projects and check the status of Bashmaq border.

In the first step of his trip to Kurdistan, he will visit the Shadi Do Sanandaj hotel project and Almas Gharb tourism complex of this city.

The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, in continuation of his one-day trip to this province, will go to Marivan city, and while being at the Bashmaq international border of Marivan, he will be in the process of providing services to Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims.

Attending Horaman World Zone and visiting ecotourism residences and handicraft workshops are among the other programs of the Minister of Cultural Heritage in Kurdistan Province.

Ezzatullah Zarghami, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, told reporters at Sanandaj Airport: The scope of the mission of cultural heritage in Kuristan province is very rich, and I will visit the cities and projects at the invitation of the representatives and with the coordination of the governor of Kurdistan to follow up on the missions. I have traveled to Kurdistan province in different ways.

He added: Kurdistan is the cradle of Iran’s culture and art, and it has a long history, and Kurdistan is equal to Iran itself, there are many valuable cultural and civilizational symbols in Kurdistan, and this province is the manifestation of Shia and Sunni unity.

The Minister of Cultural Heritage added: Although in the first years of the revolution, enemies were greedy for this province, with the vigilance of the people, they won another honor and their plans were foiled.

Referring to the traffic of Arbaeen pilgrims for the second year in a row from the border of Bashmaq to Marivan, Zarghami clarified: I advise Arbaeen pilgrims to choose the route of Bashmaq and use the capacities and good weather of Marivan.

He clarified: One of the duties of cultural heritage is to choose alternative tourist routes and it is necessary for pilgrims to use alternative tourist destinations such as Bashmaq border.

The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts said: “everywhere in Iran is good and has the capacity to be a tourist destination, and Kurdistan province is also an exceptional province and has a good location, and we recommend that pilgrims choose Bashmaq border to visit Atbat and Karbala.
