The Minister of Roads’s reaction to the increase in rental prices / Owners should observe the rental ceiling

According to Tejarat News, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development appeared before reporters on the sidelines of the meeting of the Article 90 Commission in the Parliament and answered their questions in the field. Rising housing rents Answered for tenants.
According to the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, about 100,000 units have been handed over to the people by the end of September.
Quoted from Berna, Rostam Ghasemi pointed to the problem of increasing housing rents for tenants and said in this regard: The parliament has a two-emergency plan on the agenda that if approved in the court, the necessary permits will be provided to the ministry. With this plan, the ministry can use these tools to carry out the necessary controls.
He specified: in this plan, about 40,000 billion tomans of resources have been considered to increase the ability to pay housing deposits to the tenants of the lower deciles. This figure is 100 million Tomans in Tehran, 70 million Tomans in provincial centers and 40 million Tomans in other cities. Part of this plan has been implemented and about 100,000 people have registered in the system and its implementation is underway.
How to regulate the housing rental market
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development also said about how to regulate the market in the field of housing: the trend of price increase should be such that 25% can be increased in Tehran and about 20% in cities and 15% in other small cities. Because the tools are not clear, we are negotiating with the relevant organizations, and the parliament’s plan in this regard can be of great help in controlling prices.
Ghasemi also mentioned about the plan of the National Housing Movement: According to the latest statistics received from the housing system, we should build about 3 million and 200 thousand urban housing units and 800 thousand rural housing units.
So far, the construction of 160,000 rural housing units based on the names and national codes of individuals has begun, and we have 1,350,000 units under construction in the country, ranging from excavation to joinery.
We hope to deliver about 100,000 units to the people by the end of September with the completion of joinery. I have also mentioned many times that we are finally planning to implement this commitment of the government in two sections of 2 million.
