According to Tejarat News, Mehrdad Bazarpash said on the sidelines of the opening of 2,200 residential units in the new city of Hashtgerd: We are trying to solve the problem of the increase in the cost of the units of the National Housing Movement with other methods so that the income of the people will decrease.

He added: the interest rate of the facility was 23%, which is being reduced by the President’s emphasis, and the President considers this interest to be high. Two days ago, in the Money and Credit Council, we proposed a method to reduce the interest rate of the facility, and the relevant committee was supposed to announce its opinion.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized that the interest rate of the facilities should be reduced and said: The government’s definite decision is to reach a conclusion before the end of this year and we are in the process of finalizing the method.

Bazarpash stated: Difficulties have been created in the final price for applicants with initial income, and we have considered ways to reduce the final price for applicants who are covered by support institutions.

Stating that the Hashtgerd metro has not reached its full capacity, he said: The municipality and the governorate are following up to solve this problem, and the capacity of the Hashtgerd metro should be tripled.
