Charso Press: Khosro Rafiei, the head of the Public Relations Association of Iran, referring to the announcement of the Competition Council regarding the lack of competence of radio and television in the matter of monitoring the face and image in the virtual space, said: One of our major problems since the beginning of the revolution until now is the interference of various bodies in the duties of others. It is organs. By doing such actions, they overshadow the duties of others, violate the law and do not allow things to proceed properly in any department.
In an interview with Khabar Online, referring to the legal definition of supervision through the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on the media and the home television network, he said: One of the things we must do in the field of media is to determine the duties of the ministries of Islamic culture and guidance. Or collect it. This ministry was in charge of public relations until 1984, then these duties were handed over to the presidency. In the meantime, we see that Sedavsima suddenly followed and wants to take over a series of the main duties of this ministry, one of which was monitoring the media; This is not a good thing and this procedure should be corrected.
Pointing to the pressures that are brought to reference bodies in this field through some organizations, Rafiei added: For example, we have the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution and the Ministry of Education and Culture, and we see that what should be communicated to high schools in education and culture, through the Supreme Council. They decide for the cultural revolution overnight! This is an ugly trend that has become popular in our country, and because of it, they pressurize the judiciary and prosecutors to get orders and put pressure on that institution!

Therefore, if they monitor their own activities and gain people’s trust, then they can achieve many positive events. Today, we have many problems with electricity, water, air, etc., and radio and television must communicate with the people and play the role of the media properly for the people, so that everyone can be associated with the culture of facing these problems through this media.
Stating that the title of supervision for radio and television in the field of media and home television networks is not legal, he clarified: I consider the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance as the supervisor, because according to the law, this ministry is responsible for supervision. We cannot suddenly change the law and destroy everything; In addition, no one who is a producer and beneficiary in a field can play the role of observer for the actors of the same field!
The threat of the home show as a competitor to Radio and Television was another issue that Rafiei pointed out: the bodies that prevent some events should not allow Radio and Television to circumvent the law, when there is a defined law. which introduces the Ministry of Guidance as the supervisor of cultural and artistic activities, the radio and television should not enter in this area, let alone supervise and define whether the show is a home show or not!
The protest against the process that took place through the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance was one of the cases that Rafiei pointed out with emphasis: The Ministry of Guidance should raise this issue in the government and parliament, not to keep silent so that no one’s voice is heard! Silence in the face of a wrong move is not a good thing, and the directors of the Ministry of Culture should protest, because the fact that I say force because I have more power is not correct, and we should allow each body to do its duty.
