The music of the regions is not imported/ Local music raises the level of culture – Mehr News Agency Iran and world’s news

Milad Ebrahimi, one of the judges of the “Notrane” talent search program, which airs on your network, in a conversation with Mehr reporter about the importance of holding such an event in the field of indigenous music, said: As the title of the program is clear, “Notrane” seeks to find talents We are the music of different Iranian regions and tribes so that we can use the art of these people in music.
Referring to the role of television in identifying these talents, he added: Considering that television is one of the media that people deal with on a daily basis, it undoubtedly has a great effect on discovering talents and introducing them.
Ebrahimi further stated: “Notrane” was well received during the submission phase of the talent search and nearly 2,000 people participated. After that, 200 people reached the verification stage, whose works were of acceptable quality. Currently, the competition is conducted between 40 people and finally, the winners of this period will be announced. In my opinion, each of these 40 people has the ability to become a musical figure.
This judge explained about the “modern” evaluation criteria: Of course, our main evaluation criteria is to deal with the local language and covering Iranian ethnic groups, which most of the participants also had this characteristic. In the next stage, characteristics such as the type of voice, performance techniques and their type of music are important.
Referring to the necessity of finding the continuation of the “Notrane” program, he noted: In my opinion, taste-making is now the first word in music; That is, we should be able to move people’s taste towards Iranian folk music and music so that new singers are introduced to the field of art and people get to know the types of folk music in the country. In addition, the level of musical taste and culture is increasing due to the spread of local music in the country and among the youth.
In the end, Ebrahimi clarified: Competitions that have the aspect of finding talent, especially in the field of music art, are usually welcomed. Now, if it is broadcast on national networks and more information is given, it will make the participants and the program visible. Finally, I request the relevant authorities to give more importance to the music of Iranian peoples because this art is not imported and is our own real product throughout the country.
