According to the art and media reporter of Fars news agency, the press conference of the national fashion and media event (Resta), before the Fajr fashion and clothing festival, was held this morning at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

This meeting was held in the presence of Alireza Babaei, member of Fajr Fashion and Clothing Festival Policy Council and Mehsa Farzan, Executive Secretary of National Fashion and Media Event (Rasta), fashion and clothing activists and media people.

The national fashion and media event is scheduled to be held in July of this year in 5 areas: styling and product design, product photography, creating promotional teasers, packaging and sales programs, and virtual content production as a pre-event of the 12th Fajr Fashion and Clothing Festival.

Farzan, the executive secretary of this event, in response to the concern of some women’s activists regarding the virtual activity of Instagram bloggers in promoting the style of Islamic clothing in the common ways of cyberspace, said that the emergence of these Instagram phenomena is due to the gap of online sellers and manufacturers in the field of clothing.

Promoting hijab in the society was one of the other points raised in this meeting. Some women present at the meeting cited the experience of some Islamic countries in promoting hijab among women as an example and spoke about the effectiveness of some current practices in encouraging women to wear hijab.

In the end, the secretary of this event said: This event is supposed to lead to Fajr fashion and clothing festival in 360 degrees. It means that every year by summarizing the events, we will hold it in other cities as well and the existing capacities in the provinces of the country will be used.
