The National Orchestra of Iran staged its latest concert/performance in support of the volunteers of the Red Crescent Society


According to Fars news agency, on the eve of World Volunteer Day, the National Orchestra of Iran had a special performance.

This concert was held in line with the social responsibility of the Rudaki Foundation and with the participation of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

At the beginning of this event, Vahid Salimi, the head of the volunteer organization of the Red Crescent community, while welcoming the attendees, appreciated the voluntary act of the National Orchestra of Iran in honoring the efforts of the members of the Red Crescent.

Next, the national orchestra led by Homayun Rahimian went on stage and performed the national anthem of our country.

“A Thousand Hands”, “Redshaw”, “Rhapsody for Reeds and Orchestra”, “Khak Mehr Ayin”, “Strauss March” and “Echmiazin” were other pieces that were performed in this special concert.

At the end, the National Orchestra of Iran performed the piece “O Iran” with the applause of the audience.

The said orchestra was held with the enthusiastic presence of Iranian Red Crescent volunteers and on the eve of December 14th, which coincides with December 5th, the International Day of Volunteers and solidarity with voluntary work.
