According to Fars News Agency, Mohammad Khazaei yesterday (Thursday) in the presence of deputies, general managers and managers of affiliated institutions officially began his activity as the head of the Cinema Organization and the services of Hossein Entezami were praised.
In this meeting, which was attended by Mahmoud Shaloui, Director General of the Ministry on behalf of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Khazaei thanked Hossein Entezami for his services and said: The Ministry of Culture and Guidance has been and is known as a cultural director. His services are quite evident in the fields of cinema and the press. I thank him for his part and I hope he will continue to be with us.
The head of the Cinema Organization expressed his satisfaction that he had accepted this responsibility with the support of the cinema people, the media and the trust of Dr. Ismaili. He continued: The burden of the responsibility of the cinema organization was placed on us. I prayed that another colleague would be in this position and that we would continue to be with them and continue production. I had been offered responsibilities before, but I preferred not to enter the field of management and at least cinema, and I always avoided cinema management.
He added: “The opportunity for change and transformation in cinema with sparks of hope created among artists and the media and senior cultural officials of the country for us executive agents is very small.” The cinema organization’s calendar starts today and will end in the next 43 months. The director said that the new cultural missions of the government in the field of cinema have been announced by Dr. Ismaili. The situation is there. Strengthening the new manpower, paying serious attention to the themes of the Islamic Revolution and holy defense, cultural diplomacy and national interests, and social and comedy films with healthy and family-oriented themes will definitely be on the agenda of the cinema organization.
He continued: The structure of the cinema organization was formed from the beginning with the efforts of Mr. Shamqadari, but it was not fully implemented. Examining the strengths and weaknesses of the written plan of the cinema organization will be on the agenda and will be implemented periodically if the conditions are provided and the economic problems are solved.
Khazaei pointed out: “Undoubtedly, cinema people, media and cultural officials must be more patient and patient to start changes in cinema.”
