The need to develop the tourism and handicraft capacities of Alborz



According to the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Alborz Province, Azizullah Shahbazi, on Thursday, November 27, 1400, on the sidelines of a visit to the exhibition of tourism and handicrafts capabilities of the Kurdistan Region, in “The Supreme Leader has been dubbed Little Iran because of its ethnic diversity. It now has a large capacity to showcase handicrafts and home-made products.”

The governor of Alborz said: “This exhibition in the form of one hundred booths consisting of producers, craftsmen, artists and activists in the field of tourism has been able to expose a large part of the capabilities of the residents of this province and the neighboring province to the public.”

He added: “Several of these productions have been done with support and the perseverance of home-based business activists with the support and provision of facilities has now reached mass production and has gained a very good market.”

“This festival could be a good start to introduce and expand the activities of handicrafts, tourism and home-based businesses in the province,” Shahbazi said, referring to the outbreak of the corona.

The governor of Alborz stated: “In this regard, the support and assistance provided by non-governmental organizations and social activists in the form of charities is commendable.”

“The General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Alborz has a serious mission to strengthen tourism and support handicrafts,” he added.

“The Alborz Chamber of Commerce team has been very active and professional, and so far they have achieved valuable success in the field of handicrafts and tourism,” he said, referring to regular visits to production and industrial units.
