The need to set the time of morning flights so as not to interfere with the morning prayer

According to the economic correspondent of Fars News Agency, the users of this media in my Fars section, by registering a scan, have asked to follow up on the issue of “the need to set the time of morning flights so as not to interfere with the morning prayer.”

In this scan, which has so far registered about 180 signatures, it is stated: “I got a plane ticket for Tehran-Shiraz route on Sunday,” which was 5:15 in the morning, and we were supposed to get off the plane in Shiraz at 6:40, that is, exactly before From the call to prayer until after sunrise.

اینIn the continuation of this scan, the registrar has stated: Assuming that I can return the ticket by deducting the fine, should there be such a flight? What should people do when their morning prayers are missed at this time?

Therefore, Fars News Agency reports that if the signatures of this scan increase to 100,000, it will follow up the issue with the responsible institutions, including the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the National Aviation Organization.

* Aviation Organization: Notifying the airlines about the time of the morning prayer

We followed up on the matter with Reza Jafarzadeh, spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority.

In this regard, he told a Fars reporter: “All airlines have been informed in the past that they must consider a suitable opportunity for morning prayers and observe in this regard.”

Jafarzadeh added: “Companies are required to consider the time required to perform the morning prayer, and if they do not pay attention, the Civil Aviation Authority will take legal action in this regard.”

According to Fars, it was in May 1996 that the Civil Aviation Organization announced a new circular on offering prayers on flights to airlines.

The circular emphasizes that “passengers of Iranian aircraft from all destinations and destinations and passengers of foreign airlines flying from Iran to or within Iran, have the right to perform daily prayers in proper conditions and this right must be recognized.” Be recognized and respected; If during the flight, the religious time of prayer begins and ends on the same flight, the airlines are obliged to provide the requested information of the passengers, including the religious time and the direction of the qibla, to the applicant passengers and, if possible, a suitable and safe place for “Introduce the obligation of prayer to travelers.”

The circular further states: “Also, in cases where the time for prayer expires after landing the plane but there is not enough time to perform the formalities of arrival at the destination and prayer, it is necessary to observe the above provisions, if the time of prayer is before Start from the beginning of the boarding program, or the time to offer prayers and the flight length is such that it is not possible to offer prayers during the flight, boarding passengers start at least 15 minutes after the arrival of prayer time, or the flight schedule is changed “It should be possible for travelers to offer prayers after landing and completing the entry formalities.”

دیگریIn another part of this section, it is stated that “in cases where compliance with the above leads to a violation of safety requirements and endangering the lives of passengers, compliance with safety requirements is necessary and the existing restrictions are observed with respect to passengers’ rights and “Alternative solutions, to maximize cooperation with passengers. According to this communiqué, all airlines are obliged to amend and revise the instructions and processes related to flight planning and management in such a way that the provisions of this communiqué are observed in the current operations of the companies.”
