The new chapter of “Treasure” is broadcast / Introducing and reviewing the most important documentaries of the 70’s

According to Fars News Agency, the documentary series “Treasure” directed by Hanif Shahparrad takes a look at Iranian documentary cinema in recent decades and examines the best works made. The new season of this series will be aired tonight, Wednesday, December 15th.
Referring to this documentary series, Shahparrad said: “Ganjineh” is an archival series and has looked at the history of our country’s documentary cinema with a research perspective. In the new season of this series, we have gone to the documentaries of the 1370s, of course, we will also broadcast some documentaries from the 1360s.
While introducing a number of important documentaries that will be shown in this season, he said: “Among the important documentaries that will be shown in this season, we can include” Haj Abbas Wives “,” Salt Man “,” Nishdaroo “,” January 59 “,” “Master Ebadi” and … he pointed out.
“In this series, we tried to show the best works of each of the documentarians,” the documentary filmmaker said, noting that many of these documentaries were made by veterans of our documentary cinema today. Some of them have a very high documentary value and others have a high artistic value. For example, we have a film by Akbar Khajavi about the Zayandeh River. This film was restored by the organization’s laboratory and is an important document about Zayandehrud. This documentary was made in the early years after the revolution and is also an anthropologically significant film.
Shahparrad said about the archival nature of this 50-part series: “Archiving a documentary has its own difficulties.” However, we tried to get the videos from different centers. Each episode of this series is between 50 and 60 minutes.
Hanif Shahparrad is the producer and director of this TV series, and among its other factors, we can mention the researcher and writer: Arian Mozaffari, the editor: Aban Behbahani, and the narrator: Nader Rad.
The series will be broadcast on Wednesdays at 8 pm on the Documentary Network and will be repeated the next day.
