The new members of the Board of Trustees of the Veteran Artists Institute were introduced

According to Fars news agency, the 19th meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Veteran Artists was held in this institute yesterday, Tuesday, in order to introduce and award the new members of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Veteran Artists, signed by the minister.

This meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mahmoud Salari, Deputy Minister of Arts, as the chairman of the board of trustees, and with the presence of Dariush Arjamand, the chairman of the board of directors, Mehdi Afzali, the CEO of the Institute for the Development of Culture and a member of the board of directors, and Seyed Abbas Azimi, the CEO of the board of directors.

In this meeting, Mohammad Reza Khushkho represented the Broadcasting Organization, Seyed Amir Javaid represented the Islamic Propaganda Organization, Abdul Hamid Aggkar represented the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Mohammad Chakshian represented the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare, Alireza Esmaili represented From Art Academy, Mahmoud Farhang on behalf of the artistic vice-chancellor, Mohsen Ali Akbari on behalf of the Cinema Affairs Organization and Mehdi Salem, CEO of Rudaki Foundation, as the secretary of the board of trustees, were introduced as the new members of the board of trustees of the Institute of Veteran Artists, and their decisions were made by Dariush Arjamand. The chairman of the board of directors was awarded.

Also, in this meeting, the representative of the Ministry of Labor, Mohammad Chekshian, and other members of the Board of Trustees emphasized the benefit of the society and art lovers from the experiences of veteran artists.

In this regard, professor Dariush Arjamand said that the artists of this institution are fully prepared to transfer their experiences, but the atmosphere of the institution’s building must find better conditions, which requires increasing the budget and improving its financial situation.

Mahmoud Farhang, the representative of the artistic vice-chancellor, also said about the transfer of experiences and artistic knowledge of the veterans of Iranian arts to the neighboring countries that in the Sahibdalan art event, many works of art from Islamic countries and around Iran were sent to the festival secretariat, which showed their attention to the art of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Following this path, even some countries like Iraq requested to accept theater professors.

Sidamir Javed, the representative of the advertising organization, also stated in this meeting that it is possible to witness the transfer of good experiences in this field with the synergy and cooperation between the art field and the institute of veteran artists.

Khoshro, the representative of Sedavasima, also stated about cooperation with veteran artists that benefiting from the experiences of artists in various artistic fields is one of the needs of Sedavasima, and this issue can be solved with the cooperation of artists’ institute for consultation and consensus.

Then Azimi, the CEO of the institute, announced the production of documentaries on the life of artists that can be broadcast on radio and television.

Azimi also said about the relationship between the institute and the artists: In the past and in the future, every month we organize the birthday celebration program of the artists every month and we are regularly informed about their condition because we consider the problems and issues of the artists as our problem.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Minister for Art Affairs and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Veteran Artists congratulated the new members of the Board of Trustees of the Institute and stated that very good measures and activities have been carried out in the Institute to support artists. Regarding the transfer of experiences, various actions have been taken by the Ministry of Culture, but it is supposed to be done in this field with the cooperation and accompaniment of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

After that, the awarding ceremony of the new members of the board of trustees was conducted by Dariush Arjamand, accompanied by the artistic deputy of the minister and the CEO of the Veteran Artists Institute.

Also, the members of the board of trustees thanked and appreciated the efforts of professor Dariush Arjamand for supporting veteran artists.
