According to Tejarat News, Alireza Jafari said in a press conference about the construction price of the National Housing Movement: According to the order of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, the construction price of the National Housing Movement will be finalized and announced within the next 10 days.

He explained: These prices are communicated in the form of three packages; For buildings of 3 floors and below, buildings of 3 to 6 floors and buildings of 6 floors and above, it will be calculated based on two stages, i.e. completion of stiffening and completion of carpentry.

The price of building units of the National Housing Movement is 7.5 million to 8 million tomans

He stated: With the planning done, the price of building the National Housing Movement units is 7.5 million to 8 million tomans, preparation and landscaping costs are added to this price, therefore, the applicant’s final calculation is based on three indicators of construction cost, preparation and landscaping costs.

Jafari regarding whether there will be a verification of the units announced by the construction companies for opening, considering that last year it was announced that 10,000 housing units in Mehr Pardis would be opened, but it has been postponed to May and now to the government week. He said: The 13th government adheres to one principle in fulfilling obligations and presenting reports, and that is the principle of honesty.

He continued: Regarding Mehr Pardis housing, it was planned to open 10,000 units of Mehr Pardis housing at the end of last year, while we faced two obstacles to prepare this operation; The first obstacle, unfortunately, was the non-fulfillment of the commitment by the contractor of phase 11. Unfortunately, this contractor did not fulfill about one-third of the commitment. In order to be able to determine the task of the contractor based on the efficiency and suitability of the applicants, the aforementioned contractor was dismissed at the end of last year to Use reputable contractors to complete the operation.

He emphasized: According to the order of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, the units should have been handed over with all the facilities and ready for occupancy so as not to embarrass the people. With the emphasis of the Minister, we have completed the remaining works, and since May, the usable units have been handed over to the people and for the unified opening. Referring to the improvement of the standard of living in new cities, Jafari clarified: sometimes, access to a bakery in new cities required spending a lot of time, which was one of the tasks of new cities.

Regarding the National Housing Movement Plan, he said: Based on the assignment of 4 million housing units, 600 units were the responsibility of new cities. Housing in the new cities is provided on the basis of qualified applicants and provision, so far we have registered about 300 thousand people in the new cities. In the first step of defining the project, there were 177,000 eligible people, and we defined 200 units for them, of which 120,000 units are active.

The CEO of Iran’s New Cities Construction Company, reminding that in 6 new cities of Parand, Sadra, Baharestan, Golbahar, Sahand and Fouladshahr, we had requests and excess demand for existing lands, added: it is necessary to organize the applicants to define and provide land, which today is 7000 hectares of land in The agenda of the Provincial Planning Council and the Supreme Council of Urban Planning and Architecture is there. We hope to allocate and supply these lands this year and build the units in the remaining 2 years.

By the end of this year, the land deficit for residential units will be resolved

Jafari announced that by the end of this year we will solve the deficit of land for residential units and deliver these units to the applicants by the end of the 13th government. Spots are identified in coastal cities. These areas are assigned to the central and northern plateau provinces of the country in order to provide the opportunity to use the sea economy.

He announced the creation of 50 points for building the capacity of 4 million residential units and said: 77 residential settlements will have a population of between 10,000 and 50,000 people.

Emphasizing the use of the private sector’s capacities for settlement construction, he stated: Lands that are outside the city limits will be used for private sector settlement construction with the condition of a minimum area of ​​10 hectares. Today we have more than 35 private sector settlement cases.

The Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized: Considering the past deficiencies and lack of attention to the balanced development of new cities, we have faced challenges and shamed the people.

Jafari pointed out that about 260,000 units of semi-finished Mehr housing reached the 13th government, and said: 60,000 of these units are related to new cities, which, including the government’s week, have opened up to 40,000 units. The remaining 20,000 units are also needed to complete the houses of about 9 hemats and to complete the infrastructure, superstructure, water, etc., about 10 hemats of financial resources.

He announced the provision of resources for the completion of Mehr housing units from the land clearing site with the National Land Fund and said: Next year, the celebration of the completion of Mehr housing will be held during the government week.
