The system flags fake followers and spam content and allows users to delete them in bulk, saving users time. Any suspected spam or bot accounts are filtered in a separate inbox for user review, and by checking this box, if you see an account that is not spam, you can return it to your main list. Otherwise, these suspicious accounts will be automatically deleted after 30 days.

Posts from profiles that are flagged as spam will not appear in the content creator’s account unless you approve them. The user can view any tag requests flagged by Instagram’s auto-recognition system and, if necessary, approve or delete them altogether. Instagram also sends notifications to users within its program if it detects posts that conflict with the content policy of this social network. In the new Instagram update, it will be shown when the post published by the user will be blocked from the Insta explorer page and users should avoid repeating the mistakes that led to this.

Instagram also announced that it is also testing the ability to hide visits from accounts that the automatic detection system has identified as spammers for stories. In 2021, the company also introduced the Hidden Words feature, which prevents messages containing suspicious keywords from being displayed.
