As Fatemi Amin emphasized, the lottery will be possible by increasing the production circulation, and according to the car manufacturers’ plan and of course the government’s order to increase car production, it seemed that the removal of the lottery will be key from this year and consumers will no longer need to buy cars. Last year, due to the fragile nature of their production, car manufacturers used to supply in a drop-by-drop manner; For example, Iran Khodro company held a lottery for the supply of 20,000 cars, which faced a large influx of traders to register, who registered with different national cards, and in the end, we saw that 6 million people registered for 20,000 cars.

The General Director of the Ministry of Automotive Industry Office added: “Actually, the chance of winning for the consumer was reduced to a very low level.” Therefore, if we only increased the production circulation, the lottery process would never be removed, so besides focusing on production, we should also organize the supply.

He continued: In this regard, it was decided to consolidate the car lottery in the form of an integrated car allocation system in order to increase transparency and in this way eliminate the lottery. Accordingly, in the first round of the lottery, 170,000 cars were offered, and considering that all car manufacturers were present, each person could register to buy a product. Therefore, the presence of merchants decreased.

Reasons for removing the integrated car allocation system

Tavakoli Lahijani pointed out the cancellation of the lottery through the unified system and added: After holding 3 rounds of the lottery in this system, Saipa products were removed from the lottery. Regarding how the car supply will be after the complete removal of the lottery, he clarified: After the complete removal of the lottery, the car supply will be done as before and through the car manufacturers themselves.
