The Meteorological Organization has issued a rainfall warning for 5 provinces of rain, thunder and wind in the northern part of the country.
According to Moj news agency, the overall forecast of the organization’s synoptic and forward-looking maps Meteorology It shows that today in the north of East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan and areas of Ardabil, torrential rain, sometimes thunder and wind are predicted.
Tomorrow, while the rainfall will intensify in the mentioned areas, it will cover the area of Gilan and west of Mazandaran. Showers, thunderstorms and temporary strong winds will occur in the northern part of the country on Monday. On Tuesday, the rains will continue on the shores of the Caspian Sea and the northeast, and on Wednesday, there will be scattered rains on the shores of the Caspian Sea.
The dominant phenomenon during the next 5 days in the north-east, east and south-east of the country is strong wind with dust phenomenon. During this period, especially in the afternoon hours of Sunday to Tuesday, strong winds will occur in the areas of the center and southern slopes of Alborz, which will be accompanied by dust in some of these areas.
On Sunday and Monday, the Caspian Sea will be rough and in the next 5 days, the East Oman Sea will be rough.
