“Yeganeh” is a historical house of Rezen in Hamedan province and an ancient work from the Qajar era, which has been destroyed and gradually died due to the scourges of the times and some human indifferences.

The wound of indifference has bent the stature of this historical and ancient building and put it on the verge of destruction, so far it seems that the efforts of the trustees to organize and return this precious monument to its former glory have been ineffective.

Some citizens and lovers of historical heritage in Rozen city called for the organization and restoration of this valuable historical building.

The only quiet death

The head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Department, Rozen, also says: This historical building is privately owned and has not yet been acquired by the Cultural Heritage.

In an interview with IRNA reporter on Thursday, “Shahrouz Kehiai” said: If the owner of this historical house cooperates, the cultural heritage department of the city is ready to restore and revive this historical work.

Stating that the historical house of Yaganeh Rezen is registered in the list of national monuments, he added: cultural heritage restores buildings like the historical house of Yaganeh in a cooperative manner in order to preserve the historical building.

Kehiai clarified: The owner of this building does not agree with its restoration for some reasons, and if the building is under the ownership of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, the department will do this in a cooperative manner.

The head of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Rozen city continued: In order to prevent the destruction of the building through the General Department of Roads and Urban Development of the province, the representative of the people of Rozen in the Islamic Council, the governor and the director general of the cultural heritage of the province, follow-up has been done and measures have been taken.

Kehiai stated: So far, 100 million Tomans worth of materials have been prepared and used for the restoration of the unique historical house of Rozen city, but because this building is not owned by cultural heritage, the owner has destroyed all the materials.

Pointing out that no funds have been allocated for the restoration of this building, he added: We are looking for the building to come under the ownership of Road and Urban Development through the reconstruction of the historical context, so that the restoration and revival of this building can be implemented.

Head of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Rozen city, referring to the visit of the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Cultural Heritage of the province to the building, said: “It was decided that after the announcement of the allocation of construction funds, preliminary work such as putting candles on the walls should be done to preserve it, so that after the acquisition, the general restoration will be done.” to give

Emphasizing that the preservation of this historical house is one of the important programs of the Rozen County Cultural Heritage Department, Kehiai stated: This building is one of the basic needs in this city and will become the Rozen Anthropology Museum.

He added: The historical house of Yeganeh, which belonged to one of the Khanin of Rozen city, has a beautiful building with Qajar architecture, and it was registered in the list of national monuments of the country in 2018 under number 32370.

The head of the Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Rozen city stated: by restoring and revitalizing historical houses, while creating welfare service spaces for tourists and helping to promote tourism and handicraft businesses, there is a better possibility to protect and preserve these houses and prevent It is provided from their destruction.

The most important law related to the transfer of historical houses by natural or legal persons, which was approved by the parliament in 1347 and is still enforceable, is the “Law on the purchase of land, buildings and facilities for the preservation of historical and ancient monuments”.

According to Article 1 of this law: Whenever it is necessary to purchase lands, buildings and facilities belonging to private individuals or institutions in order to preserve historical and ancient monuments and to repair and restore them, as well as to better present said monuments and perform excavation operations and archaeological investigations, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage , handicrafts and tourism operate according to the provisions of this law.

Therefore, compliance with the provisions of this law is mandatory for both sides of the cultural heritage organization as well as private individuals and natural or legal persons who own the building.

This law consists of seven articles and three notes, which was approved by the parliament on December 4, 1347.

The city of Rozen has 91 historical monuments, 53 of which have been nationally registered so far, which include historical hills, mosques, Imamzadehs.
