According to the economic reporter of Fars News Agency, Ali Akbar Mehrabian, Minister of Energy, in an interview with Sima News, while referring to the operation of large projects in Kerman province, said: This morning, 2 gas units of the combined cycle power plant Mehtab Kavir Zarand with a capacity of 324 megawatts were put into operation.

Mehrabian continued: In addition to power plant projects, several projects in the field of electricity transmission and distribution network and substations were put into operation.

He added: In the water sector, many water supply projects, including Jihad Water Supply Villages, were opened today, and people will benefit from these projects.

Mehrabian emphasized: One of the most important projects that will start today in Kerman province is the water transfer project from the sea to Kerman, which will provide water supply to Kerman and Rafsanjan in the first phase.

He continued: According to the plan, this project will be completed in a jihadi manner and as soon as possible, and its operation plan has been developed for the year 1402.

The Minister of Energy said in the details of the plan to transfer water from the sea to Kerman: this plan uses 2 reservoirs and 2 pumping stations at a height of 300 meters.
