The operation of the first phase of the “floating hotel” of Lake Velasht until the end of this year

Pointing out that this project has been leased for 30 years in the first phase, the project manager of the Volasht Chalus Lake Tourism Complex said: The first phase of this project will be ready for operation by the end of this year, and it was decided that 20 mobile and floating suites will be included in this project. It will be the first floating hotel in Iran.

“Mohammed Hassanzadeh” in explaining the implementation of the Velasht Chalus lake tourism plan in an interview with ISNA, said: 1057 years ago, the Velasht lake was formed at a height of 978 meters due to a landslide, and Velasht actually means drift.

Hassanzadeh pointed out that the bottom of the lake has thousands of springs that feed the water of this lake, and added: The water flow of the Volasht lake is calm and calm on the surface but roaring under the water. It can be said that 20 minutes of swimming in this lake is equivalent to 24 hours of swimming in the Caspian Sea, and we have about 3 to 8 swimmers in the lake during the year.

Stating that the depth of the lake in 90% of this 27-hectare area is 30 meters, he said: parts of the lake are about 50-60 meters deep.

Hassanzadeh listed the aquatic species of this lake as duck fish, gypsy fish, snakes and frogs and added: The distance from this lake to the main road is 11 km and from the beginning of the main road to Chalus city is 20 km.

According to ISNA, Volesht lake is one of the spectacular lakes in the west of Chalus and northeast of Kalardasht. Velasht mountain lake with a dreamy and amazing view is one of the tourist attractions of Mazandaran.

Velasht Lake is located at an altitude of about 935 meters above sea level and is considered one of the fresh water lakes of Iran.
