It was last year that news about the allocation of a plan for artists’ housing was raised, a plan that was followed up many times by different authorities and every time details were announced.
For example, they said that the land of this project is located in one of the best parts of Farand, or that its architecture will be built with special conditions.
After these events and the news of the other day, I heard that the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance is going to launch this project.
I came to the program site to see the details, the land designated for construction was located right at the entrance of Parand city, a position closer to Tehran city than the rest of the built houses.
The space was still dirt and desert, but full of machines and construction equipment and of course a pickaxe that was decorated to start the project.
Artists such as Manouchehr Shahsawari, Jalil Farjad, Aliram Nouraei, Shahram Shekohi, Abolfazl Pourarab, Puran Derakhshandeh, etc. were present, even the program was performed by Ismail Azar so that the ratio of the project to the artists was clear.
We try to help the artists to earn money
Before the start of the program, along with some other journalists, we talked with Seyed Majid Pourahmadi, the CEO of the Art Credit Fund. Regarding the facilities of this fund to the artists for this project, he said: We are trying to provide facilities that the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development provides to the applicants of the National Housing Plan in It is thought that we should also consider facilities for artists who have a low income.
Pourahmadi continued: This project is defined under the National Housing Plan, and some are defined through the facilities of the National Housing Plan, and we are trying to provide facilities to help the artists.
The CEO of Hanar Credit Fund said: The land of this project is located in one of the best parts of Parand, and acquiring this land was one of the most important measures because the current registrations are no longer near Tehran.
Pourahmadi estimated the delivery time of this project up to 2 years.
The main program started with the arrival of Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Ismail Azar went behind the podium as the host of the program and said: This is something we have been waiting for for years, as far as I know, this is the first time this has happened in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and it is a big step. We must meet the cultural needs of the bird
Arash Sayadi, the manager of Omran Parand Company, was the first person to speak.
At the beginning, he said: The 145-hectare site at the entrance of Parand city will be started in the name of artists, and we are trying to give a serious identity to the new cities.
Referring to the advantages of the presence of artists in the new city of Parand, he said: We are trying to attract the Academy of Fine Arts to take advantage of the presence of artists in this area.
Pointing out that this event will be a turning point for the new city of Parand, Sayadi took advantage of the presence of the Minister of Guidance and stated: 350 thousand people are the bottom of the population of Parand city and only 2 cinemas with a capacity of 400 seats have been created in the private sector and the capacity The culture of this region in the public sector is close to zero and we need to improve this issue with the help of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
This town should be built with Iranian and Islamic structures
Hojjat-ul-Islam Kazemi, Imam of Parand Juma, as the next person, said: cultural per capita for the people of Parand is close to zero, we welcome all artistic activities in this city.
He continued: We tried to make the structure of this place with Iranian-Islamic structures, to have a special architecture due to its distance from the city.
At the end of his address to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, he said: The furnishing of the city’s amphitheater has not yet been completed despite your order.

Mohammad Reza Barkat, Deputy Civil Engineer of the Ministry of Guidance, was the next person and said: We had 7,800 registrants in the whole country, of which 5,000 were approved. In Tehran, 2,800 people registered and 1,800 qualified.
He added: 2000 units in Parand, Hashtgerd and Ivanki are reserved for Tehrani artists.

Manouchehr Shahsawari, the former CEO of Khane Cinema, also said: I had the chance to serve the people of cinema, we were looking for this for years, and this year it happened.
He continued: We should thank Dr. Mokhbar for working hard for this project, sometimes we have a basis for disagreement with someone, but it is fair to say that I have not seen him more sincere and persistent in dealing with the Minister of Guidance.

Esmaili: We are trying to solve the problems of culture and art
The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said at the opening ceremony of the Art City project: The number of journalists under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has increased from 4,000 to 12,500.
He added: We have more than 100 thousand members of Art Credit Fund.
Esmaili continued: Appropriate housing must be provided for the employees of the ministry, the general departments of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and related institutions, as well as for the people of culture and art, who are our family.
He added: This period is the period for dealing with the backwardness in the field of providing services to the people of culture and media.
Esmaili said: In the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, in cooperation with the Islamic Council, we are seeking to establish a new cultural governance.
He emphasized: As the person responsible for this incident, I declare that this path is progressing with speed and planning.
The head of the country’s public culture council further emphasized: the artists’ housing project will continue for journalists and employees of the Ministry of Guidance as well as subordinate organizations of this ministry.
The Minister of Culture added: We are all together to create a golden period for people of culture, art and media.
Esmaili stated: We thank the people of art for their presence and encouragement.

He added: “The next projects are planned and our goal is that all those who are without a home, God willing, the conditions will be provided for them in these two years and they will soon become home owners, and we do not have any registration problems for the remaining ones.”
Ismaili in response to a question that in the first step, how many residential units will be built for artists, journalists, and will be put into operation and handed over? He said: In fact, we host the people of culture, art, journalists, writers and Quranic people in the artists’ fund, who are more than 100 thousand members of the art fund so far. In the call that was given, almost 7,800 people have registered in the country, and in the first step, predictions have been made for 2,000 people so that, God willing, the establishment will happen.
In the end, he said: Our friends have started the work, which shows that things are being done carefully and quickly. Also, this design has another important feature, which is completely based on Iranian Islamic architecture. I thank Imam Juma who worked for hours and days in Parand to create a religious, religious, cultural and artistic identity in accordance with the Iranian Islamic ecosystem. God willing, housing will be built at the entrance of this city, and with the efforts of friends, a model work will happen so that the rest of the city will follow the same model. Our plan is to turn the new city of Parand into an important cultural and artistic base of Tehran province.
