The Pixel 6 series phones charge faster than expected

When Google introduced the Pixel 6 series, it made a lot of maneuvers on its 30-watt charge. This $ 25 piece, which is not included in the product box, charges the phone by 50% in just 30 minutes. But now it is clear that the charging speed is lower than expected.

Media Android Authority Test the charge speed of the Pixel 6, and their findings show misleading information from Google. After testing the Pixel 6 with a 30-watt charger, it is determined that this phone can be charged with only 22 watts, and Google’s claim is not true. The technology source notes that the Pixel 6 Pro’s 5000 mAh battery takes about 111 minutes to reach full charge when the adaptive charge and adaptive battery settings are off. The first 50% takes about 31 minutes, but the second 50% takes much longer.

Apparently, the phone’s charging speed drops to 12 watts when it reaches 75%, and it drops to 2.5 watts when the battery is almost full, and it takes about an hour to charge the final 15%. While slowing down the charging speed over time is important to prevent damage to the phone battery and high temperatures, reducing it to 2.5 watts seems unusual.

The website also tested the charging speed with the old 18-watt pixel charger, and the Pixel 6 Pro reached full charge in 121 minutes. There is no noticeable difference between the two and this $ 25 product is only 10 minutes faster.

Google has only stated that the Pixel 6 will reach 50% charge in 30 minutes, and has not explicitly mentioned a 30-watt charge speed. Google has not yet responded to the rumors.
