The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Syria called for help in searching for survivors, rescuing people trapped under the rubble, and providing food and health aid and supplies to those affected by the earthquake throughout the country.
The ministry further expressed its thanks and appreciation to the countries and organizations that expressed their solidarity with Syria and its people and expressed sympathy with the victims of this devastating earthquake and also expressed their desire to help the Syrian people.
