In this regard, he said: What we are witnessing now and after the increase in car prices was a signal to increase production to the car manufacturer, so we continue to declare our support for the car production sector and the car industry. But we must note that the country’s automobile industry is facing many problems, and part of these problems is due to a lot of interference from the government system.
The spokesperson of the competition council announced that the youth plan of the population caused rent for some sections of the society. Promoting rent is wrong from an economic point of view, while this plan caused an increase in the price of cars in the market.
Also, referring to the application of new car prices by car manufacturers, he said: After the price calculations of domestic cars by the support organization and the determination of the prices of manufactured cars by the Competition Council and the application of new prices by car manufacturers, the prices of all types of cars in the market are between 7 and 11 The percentage has decreased.
Referring to the increase in factory prices of cars in the last few weeks, he said: This price increase caused the growth of production, so that the production of cars in April this year has increased by about 40% compared to the same period last year, and according to this, after the recent price increase Not only did we not see an increase in the price of domestically produced cars in the market, but there was also a decrease in the price of cars in the market.
The spokesperson of the Competition Council stated: This issue indicates that if we have a correct policy in the field of automobiles, these matters will lead to a boom in production and a gradual reduction in prices.
Shojaei stated that the Competition Council is determined to make policies in the field of car imports and said: “We will definitely see a sharp decrease in the price of cars in the market as the market becomes more competitive.”
The possibility of finalizing the price of assembled cars soon
The spokesperson of the competition council said about the price determination of assembled cars: the support organization has not yet announced the price analysis of all assembled cars to the competition council, so the price of assembled cars has not been finalized yet, and we hope that this matter will be finalized in the next meeting of the competition council.

In response to the question of whether the competition council can determine the new price of a car every three months according to the law, the spokesperson of the competition council said: The competition council does not set prices, but according to the instructions for regulating the passenger car market, it is allowed to monitor the production and price of the car. .
He added: Therefore, we hope that with the current conditions, the production boom will happen and we will see a decrease in prices in the market and the market will be directed in the direction where the price of the car at the factory door is the pricing criterion in the market and we will no longer see the difference between the factory price and the market.
The spokesperson of the Competition Council stated: Our policy in the field of production and import should be in such a way that we have one price in the market and therefore the car brokerage and rental market will disappear.
