Pointing out that the increase in the loan limit of Qarz-ul-Hosna last year was a good thing, he pointed out: For years, the loan limit of Qarz-ul-Hosna had experienced a slight increase. The view of the Central Bank and the Ministry of Economy was that Qarz Al-Hasna is for small expenses and there is no need to increase the amount of this loan. They believed that a significant increase in the loan limit would lead to the deviation of loans and increase in arrears.
In this regard, the CEO of Qarz-ul-Hosna Bank, Mehr Iran, added: When the loan limit of Qarz-ul-Hosna was increased from 50 million tomans to 200 million tomans, some economic officials were worried that the bank would distance itself from serving the less privileged sections of the society. While the bank’s activity in 1401 showed that not only it did not happen, but by the way, serving the lower income deciles was developed more than before.
Shamsinejad stated: Our main goal this year is to increase the bank’s resources even more and to pay more loans based on the increase in resources.
The service fee replaces the fixed fee
Addressing the bank managers, he said: Currently, we are following the service wage project, which is expected by various governing bodies. This issue requires that we change our thinking and our way of looking in the field of finance and accounting. We are trying to implement the service wage project from next month. This even changes the way we do marketing. We must all be ready for change.
CEO of Qarzul Hosneh Mehr Bank of Iran added: The bank’s mid-term strategy with a period of 3 to 5 years will be announced this year. Qarzul Hosne Mehr Bank of Iran has grown and we all have to think big. Now it is no longer possible to think and provide service with traditional methods. We have to change the structure in some parts. This change of structure is also based on the program that is announced.
Referring to the effectiveness of education, Shamsinejad said: The education sector is very serious and is very important for us. Qarzul Hosne Mehr Bank of Iran has progressed very well in terms of operations, but it is necessary to get out of the shell in which it was operating before.
He stated: The proposed structural change does not necessarily depend on increasing the force. If there is a need to increase the staff, we will do so, but it does not necessarily mean expanding the bank’s headquarters. Moreover, if the force in a department increases, the responsibility of that department will also increase.
Other banks follow the example of Qarzul Hosneh Mehr Bank of Iran
Stating that the country’s first Qarz-ul-Hosna bank has become a role model, Shamsinejad said: “The performance of Iran’s Qarz-ul-Hosna bank has been so favorable that even the weakest banks in terms of operational indicators are imitating its performance model.” Copying a successful model is a common occurrence. In the new year, the General Department of Marketing is responsible for presenting new models.
While emphasizing the necessity of developing the bank’s services, the CEO of Qarzul Hosneh Mehr Bank of Iran stated: There are 500 active companies in the capital market, we must have an active program for these companies and provide services and products suitable for the needs of these companies.
He added: We should be concerned about the systems, including the system of the Mehriyar plan. All provinces should be active in this system and enter the necessary information. Managers and deputy governors of provinces should be active in the field of customer development.
Shamsinejad emphasized: In the new year, our priority is marketing. In the last 6 months, with the efforts of all managers and employees, good success was achieved in the Mehriyar project and 1,200 companies were connected to this project. This year is also the year of maturity of the Mehriyar plan.
He said: The needs of the bank are such that we need to be more active in the field of information technology and we need to review and improve various infrastructures. Although the employees of the information technology department are working and trying much more than their capacity.
The CEO of Iran’s Qarz-ul-Hosna Mehr Bank said about the service fee project: If this project is implemented, all customers and guarantors must be validated and we need to prepare for these conditions. In the new year, we should have extensive activities in the field of information technology and marketing, and most of our activities should be focused on these two areas.
In the end, he said: “I am sure that with the efforts of all managers and employees, we can achieve even more amounts than the goals that have been set.” The bank’s percentage share of liquidity this year should reach 3%, although our main target is 5%, which is definitely achievable. In order to achieve this goal, we must make the bank branches quiet and the majority of the bank services are done through online and offline systems.
