The presence of representatives of the insurance fund for natural building accidents in the earthquake-affected areas of West Azerbaijan

According to Iran Economist, citing Shada, following the 5.8-magnitude Khoi earthquake, the representatives of the building natural disaster insurance fund visited the earthquake-affected areas on Thursday, January 29.
During this visit, which was carried out with the aim of investigating the dimensions of the damages, the representatives of the fund first met with the governor of West Azerbaijan, while providing the necessary information on how to pay the damages caused by the earthquake and explaining the performance of the fund during natural disasters, to draw a schedule for the payment of damages. They visited the residential buildings. After that, the expedition team of the Building Natural Accidents Insurance Fund went to Shahr Khoi and visited the earthquake affected areas while sympathizing with the earthquake victims.
According to the Governor of West Azarbaijan, according to preliminary estimates, between 20 and 80% of damage was done to 500 residential units in the Khoi earthquake. As soon as the estimate of the amount of destruction is completed by the Governor’s Office, the process of paying the damages will be started by the Building Natural Accidents Insurance Fund. .
All residential buildings are covered by the building’s natural disaster insurance fund, and in case of natural disasters, they receive part of the assessed damage.
