The presence of the Homeland Insurance damage assessment team in the earthquake affected areas of Khoy city

According to the financial news report, citing the public relations of Mihan Insurance, Abbas Jalizban, the managing director of Mihan Insurance Company in West Azarbaijan province, the number of insurance policies issued in Khoi city and its subordinate villages is more than 2000 insurance policies and the number of declared losses of earthquake victims so far. He has announced more than 300 cases.
Following the occurrence of a severe earthquake in Khoy city in West Azerbaijan, a working group was formed in the country’s insurance to investigate the dimensions of the damage caused by the earthquake in this city, and an order was issued to send experts and quickly assess the damage to the insurers.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 on the scale of internal earth waves (Richter) shook Khoi city in the north of West Azerbaijan at 9:44 on Saturday, August 8th of Bahman. This earthquake was felt in many areas of the province, especially the city of Urmia. According to the report of the Seismological Center of Tehran University, this earthquake occurred at a depth of seven kilometers.
