Seyyed Jalaluddin Mohammadian was born in Kermanshah in 1337 and he started working with the group of tanbour players with the encouragement of Seydamirullah Katekaboodi. He started his official and artistic activity in Kermanshah Culture and Art Center in 1351 and in 1355 he came to Tehran and in order to better learn the corners and lines of authentic Iranian music, he was accepted as a student by Professor Mohammad Reza Shajarian. In the end, he was given the honor of being his student in Saba school.
3 years later, Mohammadian got to know the lines of singing in the service of Asghar Behari, and for another three years, he attended the class of Mohammad Reza Shajarian, who was teaching on the radio, and studied privately at Shadrovan Mahmoud Karimi’s house in order to complete his knowledge of music. Finally, in 1356, he started working with the group of tenbourn players.
In 1358, Mohammadian started his cooperation with the Center for Preservation and Distribution of Music and performed the piece “Hawai Watan” with the “Shams” tanbour group. In 1358, he performed a concert in Vahdat Hall with a group of tenbourin players for five days, and his song “Baz Hawa Vatanm Arzoost” was noticed by him.
