He added: The leadership has emphasized that you should explain the theory of resistance. Ghafari continued: Man by nature cannot be forced. It is the same in the lives of prophets and saints. He added: In the past years, the leadership has repeatedly emphasized on the words of the discourse of resistance and put forward various interpretations, including the resistance economy. In this way, we can express the discourse of resistance in cinema in various dimensions, and we must avoid reducing it to purely religious, political or military conflicts. The lack of proper understanding and understanding of the word resistance prevents us from moving properly, so we decided to develop subjects with a resistance perspective and make decisions about it.
The secretary of the 17th International Film Festival of Resistance added: The closing of the festival will be held at the same time as the birth of Hazrat Sahib al-Zaman, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the World Day of the Underprivileged, which will be the blessing of the festival.

Every Iranian feels pride and honor by being in the Persian Gulf, because the power and security of the Persian Gulf is in the hands of Iran today.

Ghaffari continued: The festival should discover, educate and prepare the future generations and the second step of revolutionary cinema for the future of Iranian cinema.
In this regard, he added: We have special production support in the short film and talent search sections of the festival, so that in the future, luxurious films will be produced for the festival.
The secretary of the 17th International Film Festival of Resistance continued to say: The subject and discourse of resistance has not been explained to many of our professional filmmakers, and in the past days and months, we have communicated with them about this issue in order to have a more dynamic festival than in the past.
Emphasizing the organization and fronting of independent filmmakers around the world, Ghafari said: Liberals are good at first glance, but in reality they have caused war and chaos. It is hoped that resistance cinema with the theme and discourse of resistance will operate as an independent festival and against liberal and capitalist cinema.
Announcing the news that in order for the festival not to fall behind in its activities, we decided to hold it annually, he said: wherever cinematography in the world has become involved with the flow of liberal and capitalist cinema, it will be noticed by us and brothers and Our sisters know about this.
Ghaffari continued by stating that the entire 17th international resistance film festival and all its parts will work in a global and international direction, and said: “Resistance film weeks will be shown in 17 countries of the world with the screening of selected resistance films.”
He added: Festivals have various functions, including the Cannes Festival, which had a successful film market, but professional films did not have a special place in it. At the resistance festival, we want to have a resistance film market, even as a small sample of it, so that we can have a film market with the subject of resistance in the coming years.
Emphasizing that he is familiar with the themes of the festival of resistance, martyrdom and martyrdom, Ghafari said: Martyrdom and martyrdom are something that Western cinema can never understand.
In the end, referring to the addition of the serial section to the main sections of the festival, he said: Arab countries are usually interested in watching serials, so we planned the serial section for this purpose.

Rafiei added: In the main section, we work in three sections of feature films, including cinematography, documentary and animation, and we accept the works at the secretariat. The series is another part, and in the short film section, we are also in charge of the three fields of fiction, documentary and animation. All domestic and foreign participants and applicants, their works are selected and judged together.
He continued: “Another important part that has been taken into consideration is the “Narrative Generation” part. This year and in this period, we will have a lively approach and a principled and correct approach to the problem of teenagers and young people, from among them we can identify the future generation of filmmakers who will help the second step of the revolution to achieve cultural and artistic goals.
Rafiei further said: Our third department is the sacred defense department. In any case, holy defense is a genre that originated from the Islamic revolution, and we welcome various works in this section. The awards that will be given in this festival will be named after martyrs such as martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani (main division award), Rasul Malaqlipour (sacred defense division award), martyr Imad Mughniyeh (award for a world without Israel) and martyr Hajjji (narrative generation award). It will be given in separate parts. The screenplay section of this festival will also award its award with the name of Martyr Syed Morteza Avini with the title Narration of the Pen.
