This means that in the not too distant future, we will face not only the problem of owning a house, but also the problem of renting a house, which has started and requires the government to pay more attention.
The salary of the workers is not enough to cover the cost of housing
For a long time, housing and rental sector inflation has exceeded the general inflation of the society, and observations show that the increase in workers’ salaries in 1402 did not respond to the rate of rent growth; At this time, the majority of this group are disappointed with buying a house in general and refer to it as a distant dream.

Tejaratnews researches show that now tenants pay at least 100 million tomans in mortgage and 5 million tomans in monthly rent to rent a minimal house suitable for a family in Tehran, and they have to spend not only the right to housing but their entire salary base in this sector.
Although it was decided in the last meeting of the Supreme Labor Council that if inflation continues, a meeting will be held by the Ministry of Labor to increase workers’ salaries, and now the workers are waiting for the Supreme Labor Council to hold a meeting focusing on the issue of workers’ wages and livelihood, but Even if this salary increase is doubled, according to the current situation, all that amount should be allocated to housing costs.
Share of housing in household income
This situation is not only limited to the workers in the society. The recent report of the Iranian Statistics Center on the average income of urban and rural households shows that in 1401, the distribution of household income was not very defined; The share of housing, fuel and lighting was 1.38% based on the graph published by the Iranian Statistics Center of urban household expenses.
