The price of electricity in Finland is several thousand times the price of electricity in Iran

According to the reporter of Fars News Agency, citing Reuters, the Finnish power distribution company called Fingrid announced in a statement that the production and sale of each megawatt hour of electricity in this country currently consumes about 5 thousand euros equal to 150 million tomans.
This company has announced that the price of electricity in Finland has greatly increased and it had to activate two of its support power plants in order to balance the power distribution process in this country.
Fingrid has also announced that there is still a risk of blackouts and power shortages due to the maintenance and repair operations in a newly established nuclear power plant in this country and the reduction of wind and the subsequent decrease in electricity production from wind power plants.
It should be noted that the price of each megawatt hour of electricity in Iran is about 100 thousand tomans and we see that the same amount of electricity is produced and supplied in Finland at a price of about 150 million tomans.
Fingrid has high hopes for this new nuclear power plant in this country and announced earlier this year that this plant has enough capacity to replace the interruption of electricity imports from Russia.
Of course, this company warned after some time that if this power plant is not able to produce the expected amount of electricity, Finland will face power supply problems in the hot season.
In May, Russia stopped the export of electricity to Finland and announced that the reason for this stop was the non-payment of money for exported electricity by the Finns.
