The price of Google Pixel 8 will increase + possible price

The Pixel 6 and 7 phones were launched at a price of $600, and their Pro models were priced at $900. But now it is said that the price of Pixel 8 will experience an increase of 50 to 100 dollars compared to its previous generation, and this price increase will probably affect the Pro model as well.

According to one of the sources of the technology world named “Yogesh Brar“, the Pixel 8 will arrive with a base price of $650 or $700, a $50-$100 increase over the Pixel 7. This price will be for the basic version equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.

Possible price of Google Pixel 8

The increase in the price of Google Pixel 8 seems almost logical. Along with the increase in the price of phones in recent years, it is expected that the future product of Google will arrive with more features than its previous generation. For example, it is said that this device will be equipped with a 120 Hz display with higher brightness, although its size will be slightly smaller than its predecessor.

Pixel 8 is likely to be equipped with a 6.17-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Also, instead of the optical fingerprint sensor of the previous generation, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will probably be used under this screen.

According to Brar, Google will use a larger 4,485mAh battery for its upcoming phone, which supports 24W fast wired charging and 12W Qi wireless charging. Pixel 7 has a 4355 mAh battery.

Currently, we do not know whether this price increase will be included for Pixel 8 Pro. However, considering the $300 price difference between the standard and Pro models, the Pixel 8 Pro will probably be available at a price of 950 to 1000. We should mention that the announced prices are related to the United States market.

Finally, we expect the Pixel 8 series phones to be introduced in early October, like their previous generation.
