According to Tejarat News, since December of last year until now, the Central Bank and the Statistics Center had not published any clear data on developments in the housing sector, and the publication of housing statistics was limited to general inflation reports published by the Statistics Center. However, today, in a separate report, Iran’s Statistics Center has published data on the housing sector’s evolution in September 1402.
Decrease in monthly inflation
Monthly inflation means the percentage change in the current month’s price index compared to the previous month. Based on this, in September 1402, the monthly price inflation of residential apartments in Tehran was -1.7%, which has decreased by 1 percentage point compared to the same information in the previous month (-0.7%).
Point by point inflation reduction
Point-to-point inflation means the percentage change of the price index compared to the same month of the previous year. According to the report of Statistics Center, in September 1402, point-to-point inflation of residential apartment prices in Tehran has reached 75.2%. In this way, point-to-point housing inflation has decreased by 8.9 percentage points compared to the previous month (84.1%).
Annual inflation increase
The annual inflation rate is the percentage change of the average numbers of the price index in a year ending with the current month, compared to the index of the same period of the previous year. Based on this, the annual inflation rate of residential apartments in Tehran has reached 83.9 percent in September 1402, which has increased by 1.9 percentage points compared to the same information in the previous month (82 percent).
The price of the house in district one is 159 million tomans!
According to the report of the Statistics Center, in September 1402, the weighted and calculated average price of residential apartments sold in Tehran reached 80,838,000 and 77,480,000 tomans, respectively. This report also announced the average housing price in August as 79 million and 199 thousand tomans.
It should be mentioned that in this month, zone 1 with a weighted average price of 157 million and 952 thousand tomans has the highest price and zone 18 with a weighted average price of 41 million and 501 thousand tomans has the lowest price among the 22 districts of Tehran.
