The price of MSI RTX 40 laptops has been determined

Recently, Microcenter retails as one of the largest retailers in the United States The price of new MSI laptops which are equipped with RTX 40 graphics cards. If you remember, there was a promise of $999 laptops with RTX 4050 graphics cards, which unfortunately, at least for now, is not the case.

The price of MSI RTX 40 laptops

Let’s start with the flagship laptop – MSI’s GT77HX TITAN laptop is the company’s flagship laptop for the new generation and can be configured with a Core i9 13980HX processor, GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, 64GB DDR5-5600 memory and Ordered a 2 TB SSD. Unfortunately, the price of this laptop with this specification is about 4700 dollars.

The next MSI laptop is the GE78HX Raider laptop, which costs around $4,000. Apart from the different chassis, the main difference between this laptop and the GT77HX TITAN is in their display – this laptop has a 240Hz 1440p mini-LED display, but the GT77HX’s display is an IPS type with 4K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is not bad to point out that the GE78HX Raider laptop can be ordered with an RTX 4080 graphics card at a price of $700 less, but the frequency of its RAMs in this model is also lower than that of the RTX 4090 model.

Regarding more economical MSI laptops with RTX 40 graphics cards, we must say that the cheapest laptop with RTX 4070 graphics card is from the Pulse 15 series with i7 13700H processor, 32GB D5-5200 RAM and 1TB SSD. And it has a price of about 1700 dollars. Of course, we also have a $1,500 model with an RTX 4060 graphics card that only has 16GB of RAM.

The cheapest MSI laptop listed with an RTX 40 graphics card is the MSI Katana 15 laptop with a base price of $1,200. This laptop can be ordered with one of two i7 12650H and i7 13620H processors. As it seems, it has been confirmed that we can see the 12th generation Alder Lake processors alongside the RTX 4050 and RTX 4060 graphics cards.

According to the unofficial information that is available, the pre-sale of laptops equipped with RTX 40 graphics cards will start from February 1st.
