According to Tejarat News, Saipa Automobile Company held an immediate sale plan for two Shahin G and Quick cars, which will start on Tuesday, the fourth of Bahman 1401.

In Saipa’s immediate sale plan, the approved price of Shahin is 344 million tomans. Meanwhile, this car is sold in the market at a price of 500 million tomans. This means that the winners of Saipa’s instant sales plan will earn 156 million Tomans by buying Shahin.

Shahin G has a more beautiful design than other domestic car manufacturers. However, the same 1.5-liter 8-valve engine that was used in Tiba, Saina, and Quick is also placed under the hood of the Shaheen, and it is one of the shortcomings of this new car.

The only difference between the Shahin G engine and its family members is that it is equipped with a turbocharger, which increases the power of this engine from 87 horsepower with natural breathing to 110 horsepower with turbocharging.

Although this turbocharged engine has more power and torque, but when we compare it with Iran Khodro’s EF7 engine, we see that it has 5 horsepower less than this naturally aspirated engine.

Shahin is offered to customers with a 5-speed manual gearbox, and its automatic gearbox model will be available in the future. It is expected that the automatic falcon will have a 16-valve and more powerful engine.

Saipa has not announced the 0-100 acceleration of the Shaheen, but some personal tests have recorded 13 seconds for this compact urban sedan. If the Shahin engine had 16 valves, it would probably reach 100 km/h in 8-9 seconds.
