The problem of the director of the banned film to make a new work

Abbas Rafei, who obtained a license for the film “Seluk”, says that he is not allowed to make his new film at the moment because he has a banned film.
Charso Press: This director, who has not succeeded in obtaining a screening license for the film “Excused Absence” for about three years, said: “Last year, I applied for a production license for my new film, and finally, about four months ago, this license was granted to the film “Seluk” and to the producer. Ali Oji was issued, but they said that because you have a banned film, you cannot make a new film until its status is determined.
Rafei added: I talked to Mr. Khazaei and they said that there is a law that has not been paid attention to and we want to implement it. Therefore, directors whose film has a regulatory problem are not allowed to make a new film until they solve that problem.
He considered such an approach as a way to eliminate independent filmmakers and had previously talked about the debate between insiders and non-insiders in cinema.
Rafei said about the story of “Seluk”: the atmosphere of the film is similar to my previous works and it is about a woman who wakes up one morning and sees that her husband is not there. He finds himself in search of his wife.
