The producer of “Jiran”: these consecutive arrests are damaging the series

According to Fars news agency, citing the public relations of the serial, the producer of “Serial Jiran” announced: After a month’s suspension, Satra informed me in a letter numbered 1222/246 on 11/1/1400 that in line with Wasileh’s complaint against The writer and director of “Ahoy Man Maral” has held meetings with the specialized expert panel with the presence of the parties regarding the need to remove similarities, and all members have voted on the lack of similarities between the two series. The members of the expert panel also considered and declared that the second paragraph of the decision of the arbitration council had been complied with. There is no prohibition to issue a license to publish Jiran in this regard.
The producer of Jeeran emphasized: The detailed plan of “Jeeran” was written in 2011 and was emailed to Mr. Majid Moulaei in 2013 for the production of the series, and it was presented to the film and series team at the same time. Mr. Majid Molaei and other people also confirm this clear fact as witnesses.
Afifeh further stated: We were sure about this dissimilarity that we started producing Jiran; But when a specialized team in a governing body ruled that there was no similarity, the production continued and 23 episodes were broadcast.
He added: The broadcast of Jeeran was stopped once due to the investigation of Satra. At the same time, we announced to our friends that there is no reason to stop, they postponed the publishing permission for a month despite the large amount of advertisements, and our work was affected. After the investigation, they announced that we were right and announced the lack of similarity.
Afifeh stated that Jiran TV series is harmed by these rulings and said: If it is determined again that this complaint was false, who is responsible for the audience’s rights. Who will be responsible for the material damage caused to the users and the broadcasting platform and millions of viewers who have been with the series for 23 weeks and are now in uncertainty.
At the end, Afifah stated: The correct process was that, first of all, Satra himself, as the final arbitrator who ruled that there was no similarity, defended his arbitration ruling and objected to the investigator’s order. Because the parties of this dispute initially accepted Satra as the arbitrator and it is very strange that Satra has completely ignored his judgment and opinion instead of defending it.
Maybe because of the recent controversies, he has been pleased and has simply assumed the role of sending the investigator’s opinion.
The first 10 episodes of Jeeran had received the publishing license from Satra after going through the aforementioned stages.
I wish Satra would at least give legal value to his license by himself and not prefer extra-legal issues to media exploitation.
