In the budget bill of 1402, the budget of 9 banks of the country, including central, agricultural, national, industry and mining, export development, post bank, housing, sepeh and cooperative development, are separately mentioned.

In total, the income of these 9 banks for the next year is 324 thousand 772 billion 434 million 500 thousand tomans and their expenses are 324 thousand 609 billion and 428 million 400 thousand tomans, so the expenses of these 9 state banks are more than 163 billion Tomans is less than their incomes.
But the division made for profitable and unprofitable banks has different conditions.
So that 6 central banks, agriculture, national, industry and mining, export development and post bank are mentioned in the profitable and break-even banks section, and three housing banks, Sepeh and cooperative development banks are listed in the unprofitable banks section.
Budget details of 6 profitable and break-even banks
The review of the budget of 6 central banks, agriculture, national, industry and mining, export development and post bank, which is in the section of profitable and unprofitable banks, shows that the total income of these banks is more than 185 thousand 507 billion tomans and their expenses are 174 thousand and it is 952 billion tomans and thus the balance of profitable and unprofitable banks in the next year is more than 10 thousand 555 billion tomans positive. Among these banks, the most profitable bank is the Central Bank of Iran, which will have a profit of more than 10 thousand billion tomans next year. In the next year’s budget, the bank’s income is estimated at 25,658 billion tomans, which is 10,000 billion tomans more than its expenses of 15,658 billion tomans.
The second state bank in terms of profitability in next year’s budget is Post Bank, which will have a profit of 350 billion tomans. While the income of this bank for 1402 is estimated at 7.1 thousand billion tomans and its expenses are 6.8 thousand billion tomans.
In the next ranks are banks of industry and mining and export development, each of which will have a profit of 100 billion tomans. Based on this, the revenues of Sanat and Mine Bank are predicted to be 14.1 thousand billion tomans, but the expenses of this bank are 14 thousand billion tomans, and thus, it has a positive balance of 100 billion tomans. Also, Saderat Development Bank will face an income of 5.1 thousand billion tomans and an expense of 5 thousand billion tomans, which, like industry and mining, will bring a profit of 100 billion tomans.
In the next rank is the Agricultural Bank, whose expenses are 5 billion tomans less than its income. In the next year’s budget, the income of this bank is 41 thousand and 566 billion tomans and its expenses are predicted to be 41 thousand and 561 billion tomans.

National Bank broke even
The National Bank of Iran is also among the break-even banks in the next year’s budget, so that its expenses and income have been equaled this year, so that its income and expenses are predicted to be 91 thousand 826 billion tomans.

The situation of 3 banks is loss
Among the 9 state banks whose budgets are included in the country’s annual financial document, three banks, Maskan, Sepeh, and Cooperative Development, are among the loss-making banks in the coming year. In total, the income of these three banks in 1402 is estimated to be 139,265 billion tomans, which is less than their expenses of 149,657 billion tomans. The difference between income and expenses of these banks is negative 10 thousand 391 billion tomans.

The status of Sepeh Bank
The most inconsistency in the budget of these banks can be seen in Sepeh Bank, whose expenses are 9,500 billion tomans more than its revenues. In fact, the merger of military banks in this bank is the main cause of such a difference. According to the details of the budget, while the income of this bank is estimated at 100 thousand 833 billion tomans, its expenses will be 110 thousand 334 billion tomans.

Housing Bank ranks second
After that, Housing Development Bank ranks second with a loss of 880 billion tomans. The income of this bank in the next year’s budget is 30 thousand 103 billion tomans and its expenses are 30 thousand 984 billion tomans.

Cooperative Development Bank is in third place
Also, Cooperative Development Bank is in the next place with a loss of 10 billion tomans. The income of this bank in the next year’s budget is 8 thousand 328 billion tomans and its expenses are predicted to be 8 thousand 338 billion tomans.
