The promise of another car of the Minister of Silence / lottery was not fulfilled

According to Tejarat News, the Minister of Silence and the officials made promises last year regarding the elimination of the lottery of car companies for the supply of cars. But in the new year, carmakers’ lotteries began.

Considering that in the country’s car market, the price gap between Iran-Khodro products is large and the promise of eliminating the lottery to eliminate the price gap between the factory and the market, but in the end did not materialize.

Why is the car still offered through lotteries?

Bahram Shahriari, an expert in the automotive industry, told Tejarat News: “The methods used to supply cars are due to the problem of inconsistency between supply and demand.” This will increase the price gap between the market and the factory. Of course, the commerciality and profitability of these lotteries is another factor in delaying the elimination of the lottery.

“These problems will not be solved as long as there is a rationale for production, supply and demand,” he explained. Innovations are also provided to solve the problems. But the problem is not easily solved.

Earlier, Saeed Madani, former CEO of Saipa, told Tejarat News: “Despite the increase in the price of factory cars, there is still a price difference between the factory and the market.” Under the current circumstances, there is no possibility of eliminating the lottery at the beginning of 1401.

He added: “This price difference between the factory and the market has created an incentive for people to register their cars, even if they do not need them.”

“As long as the pricing system is like this, the demand will be high,” he said. This high demand can be solved by lottery, which is a temporary treatment.
