The quadrilateral meeting of Iran, Russia, Syria and Turkey will be held in May – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Sputnik news agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced in a speech today: The meeting of foreign ministers of Iran, Syria, Russia and Turkey is planned for early May in Moscow.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey said in this regard: We will not achieve any political achievements from the meeting between Erdogan and Assad (presidents of Turkey and Syria) or any meeting at the ministerial level!
Mevlut Cavusoglu said in relation to his country’s relations with Egypt: “Egypt’s foreign minister plans to visit Ankara in the coming days…. After holding the (presidential) elections in Turkey, Erdogan and El-Sisi (the presidents of Turkey and Egypt) may meet, this decision will be the responsibility of the two presidents.
He further added: “During the visit of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry to Ankara, we may determine the return time of the Egyptian and Turkish ambassadors.”
In another part of his speech today, this Turkish official added: It is unacceptable that NATO makes Turkey’s agreement with Sweden a condition for the sale of F-16 fighter jets (from America) to Ankara. Turkey is preventing Stockholm from joining NATO’s military bloc because of Koran burning incidents and Sweden’s support for Kurdish separatists.
Mevlut Cavusoglu said earlier: Sweden has not fulfilled its obligations according to the plan of the agreement to join NATO. This country needs more measures to complete the process of joining NATO.
These statements of the Turkish Foreign Minister come at a time when Finland officially joined NATO as the 31st member after the approval of the Turkish Parliament last Tuesday, and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu was also present at the ceremony of raising the Finnish flag at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.
