The rainy weekend covers the north and northwest of the country
According to Moj news agency, the head of the Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks, while explaining the country’s atmospheric situation in the next five days, announced the arrival of a new rain system and the rise of dust in different parts of the country due to strong winds and stated: Today is Tuesday, 26 May. The rain system continues to operate in Mazandaran, Golestan, North Khorasan and the northern half of Razavi Khorasan, and scattered rain will occur in parts of Ardabil province and Alborz highlands.
He added: Scattered rain is expected on Wednesday 27 May in parts of the east and west coasts of the Caspian Sea, and on Thursday 28 May in the northwest, parts of Bushehr and South Fars provinces.
The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks noted that on Friday, May 29, with the arrival of a new rainfall system from the west of the country, rain will begin in the western provinces of the country and parts of the northwest. Also, scattered rain and temporary showers will occur in the south of Bushehr, Fars, Kerman and Hormozgan highlands.
Ziaian continued: Saturday, May 30, with the strengthening of the rainfall system in the west of the country, the rainfall will cover the western half of the country.
He pointed out that strong winds are expected in parts of the center, south, and eastern half of the country today, and dust is expected in susceptible areas.
Ziaian further stated: Until Wednesday, the east of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman will be rough.
The head of the Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks also stated about the weather situation in Tehran during the next two days: Tomorrow, May 27, the sky in Tehran will be clear to a little cloudy, sometimes windy, with a minimum temperature of 13 and a maximum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, and on Thursday, May 28, it will be clear. Along with the wind, sometimes strong wind is predicted with a minimum temperature of 17 and a maximum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius.
Ziaian also announced that during today and tomorrow, 26 and 27 May, Shahrekord and Ardabil are the coldest with temperatures of 1 and 3 degrees Celsius, and Ahvaz with temperatures of 38 and 39 degrees Celsius are the warmest centers of the country.
