He asked whether it is not possible to compensate the worker’s purchasing power with side benefits such as unemployment benefit or livelihood basket. He said: We do not prevent the employer from giving more salary to the worker. According to Article 41 of the law, the Supreme Labor Council determines the annual floor and minimum salary. There is no obstacle for the salary ceiling, and the employer can give a higher amount or consider a livelihood package, there is no problem in this regard.

The Deputy Minister of Labor pointed to the statistics of work accidents and said: In 1400, the number of occupational accidents was 8,900 cases, which decreased to 7,950 cases in 1401, and occupational injuries resulting in death also decreased to 51 cases in 1401.

According to him, according to the statistics of the General Directorate of Labor Inspection of the Ministry of Labor, the number of occupational injuries resulting in death in 1400 was 768 cases, which decreased to 711 cases in 1401, and the prevalence rate of occupational injuries resulting in death was 100 thousand people. He stated that the purpose of the implementation of the agreement is to protect the workforce and reduce the costs of accidents and occupational diseases and said: According to what has been stipulated, the conditions for the law to come into effect should be completed by the end of this year and the first performance report to the International Labor Organization in February 1403.
