The reception of the French for “Fremont” / Babak Jalali’s film was ranked 9th in the sales table

Among the experimental films that have been released by Iranian filmmakers, Fremont, Babak Jalali’s fourth film, has enjoyed a unique success that will pave the way for his next works.
Charso Press: This movie, which was released on the 6th of December, was able to attract 10,143 French viewers to the cinemas in the first five days of its screening, and was ranked ninth in the sales chart during the first five days of the screening.
Fremont’s film, in Afghani and English, was made in America in black and white with a very calm and straightforward rhythm. Among the 21 new films released, eight films on top of the sales table are all from America, France and Italy, which were released with a lot of advertisements.
One of the things that helped the sale of Babak Jalali’s film is, firstly, very good reviews in the French media, and secondly, the audience who saw it in the first days encouraged others to see it and helped the sale of Fremont.
