The regional section of the 16th Iran Regional Music Festival reached its final stage

According to Fars news agency’s art reporter, the third and last night of the regional section of the 16th Iranian regional music festival was staged last Friday, July 23, with the stage performances of 5 groups from North Khorasan, Hormozgan and Kerman provinces as hosts in region 5.
“Barbat” music group led by Morteza Karimi from Bandar Abbas city of Hormozgan province was the first group that came on stage on the last night of the 16th district music festival.
Morteza Karimi (group leader and oud player), Musa Kamali (Jahleh player), Hossein Zarinjeri (Nijafti player), Fahad Barani (Kaser player), Reza Turkchin (Daal and Oud player), Alireza Karimi (Pipe player) and Mohammad Reza Mohebi ( singer) were members of this music group who performed the songs “Huzak”, “Sharghi Rast”, “Fisherman” and the old song “Pamush”.
The music of the regions of the country is very diverse
Morteza Karimi, head of the “Barbat” music group, referring to the importance of holding a music festival, said: “The music of the country’s regions has a lot of diversity, which definitely requires more attention and attention to this art.”
He continued: The continuous holding of the district music festival is a reason for the new generation to become more familiar with the original roots of their music and culture and to be the flagship of the music of their district.
In the continuation of this program, Jahangir Issapour, the leader of the “Truth” music group and Serena musician from Sirjan city of Kerman province, accompanied by Reza Naroi (singer, handkerchief player and trumpet player), Hoshang Issapour (fiddle player and handkerchief player), Shapour Azarakhshi (Dehl musician) ), Muzaffar Nazarpour (guitar player), Farhad Isapour (handkerchief player and drum player), Amir Mahdi Isapour (guitar player) and Amir Hossam Naroi (singer and handkerchief player) performed music.
“Shermekhwani or Shrovhkhwani”, “Hanabandan”, “Hajle Roan”, “Treke Bazi” and “Nastam Bazi” were the songs of the “Truth” band.
The music festival is the reason for the survival of ethnic music
Referring to the need to pay attention to music, Jahangir Isapour said: I hope cultural managers and officials will plan and implement more festivals.
He continued: Holding this artistic event is the reason for the survival of ethnic music and makes authentic Iranian music more impressive and memorable for the audience.
Khalo Qanbar Rastgo, a veteran artist in the field of music and a reed player from Minab city of Hormozgan province, was another artist who hosted the audience last night with the pieces “Shruh” and “Mesh Ahmed”.

Also, in the program, Ali Tahafati, known as Ali Rezaei (dotar musician) from Kashmer city of Khorasan province, Razavi performed a dotar solo.
“Sabze Pari dotar solo based on Maqam Allah”, “Maqam Golnar” and “Gold and Silver” were among the pieces played by this Khorasani dotar player.

Ali Rezaei, stating that the festival is the only turning point and motivation for music artists, said: I wish more time would be spent to identify artists active in the field of music in the regions.
This artist explained: The musicians of ethnic groups must pay attention to the smallest details such as the choice of clothes, music, lyrics and instruments so that they can represent the music of their region.
Pointing out that music is not entertainment, Rezaei said: Music is a message; Music has a special place and its importance should be understood.
The fifth performance on the last night of the 16th Regional Music Festival was hosted by the “Local Music” group headed by Hassan Dashti from Babak city, Kerman province.
Hassan Dashti (group leader and reed and serna player), Asghar Gudgzi (drum player and singer), Dawood Sharafpour (drum player), Abolfazl Raisi (singer), Ali Dashti (drum player), Hossein Zainaldini (drum and drum player), Mehdi Esadi (drum player), Abbas Rostami (singer and percussionist) were the members of the “Local Music of the City of Babak” group.
The pieces played by this group were “Zarb and Dakr”, “Nazi Nawazi”, “Local Song”, “Avaz Shad” and “Treke Bazi”.
