According to the report of Fars International News Agency, Armenia says that the Republic of Azerbaijan has cut off the flow of gas to Nagorno-Karabakh again. Meanwhile, the transfer of fuel to this area was resumed yesterday after six months of suspension.

According to the report of Armen Press, gas transmission pipelines faced a pressure drop from July 9 (July 18) and finally reached zero. According to Artsakh Oil Company, gas stations will stop operating soon after the gas transfer to this area is stopped.

According to TASS news agency, the Republic of Azerbaijan has besieged the Nagorno-Karabakh region with the Armenian majority population since December 2022.

According to reports, the export of electricity and fuel from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Karabagh has been completely stopped since last January and since March 22, the transfer of gas to this region has been completely stopped, and the population of 120 thousand people in this region has faced a humanitarian disaster.

Baku has recently blocked the important route from Lachin to Karabakh by establishing a military checkpoint. This is the only access route for Armenia to Karabakh. This action of Baku has faced international opposition, as the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, one of Armenia’s allies, has issued a statement demanding the reopening of the connection between Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia from the Republic of Azerbaijan.
