The head of the cinema organization said today’s trip to Semnan is the 20th provincial trip of the officials of the cinema organization to the provinces of the country and continued: Semnan province, which is in the top ranks of the country in terms of unemployment rate, infrastructure, scientific figures and elites and other areas, is in the field of cinema. Khazaei introduced two important and strategic approaches for the sustainable development of the cinema sector, along with the establishment of the provincial cinema council, the creation of a joint cinema investment fund in the provinces.

Following this meeting, Seyyed Mohammad Reza Hashemi, the governor of Semnan, welcomed the presence of the private sector in the field of cinema and theater in this province and said: it is necessary to use national and provincial credits for high-quality productions and upgrade and develop infrastructure in this field.

Governor of Semnan also explained the reasons for the low reception of cinemas and continued: the wear and tear of movie theaters and the old infrastructure are among the other issues that cause the lack of reception of cinemas, and considering this important issue, the construction of modern and well-equipped cinemas is an important step.
