The restoration of the historical bridge of Khatun Alborz is in progress/fulfillment of the province’s handicrafts employment commitment



According to Aria Heritage report, quoting from the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Alborz province, Fereydun Mohammadi stated in the council of directors of this department, which was held on Sunday, November 29, 1401, in the presence of Ali Darabi, Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, he stated: “The entrance to Karaj has been destroyed two years ago and has provoked a lot of criticism.”

Director General of Alborz Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts pointed out that a large part of our historical monuments have not been designated as sacred, saying: “This issue requires that the sanctuaries be freed and defined because mostly the lands of historical monuments do not belong to cultural heritage.”

Mohammadi also asked for assistance in determining the assignment of the ownership of Shams Palace and its restoration and added: “There is a need to assign the assignment as soon as possible to the caravanserai of Shah Abbasi due to its importance for the province.”

He said about the handicraft industry of the province: “Alborz handicraft industry has been very effective in the employment indicators of the province and we were among the three organizations that achieved the promised employment ahead of schedule.”

Mohammadi also considered the province’s investment projects in the implementation phase and stated: “The first five-star hotel in the province will be opened soon.”

At the end of pointing out that Alborz is a tourist province, he said: “Alborz has formed tourism organizations in all areas, and Alborz Tourism Strategic Council has also been formed. All tourism decisions are made in that council.”

In this meeting, the deputy governors of the province also presented the performance and plan of the most important problems in each field.
