According to Tejarat News, today, Wednesday, the initial launch ceremony of Pasargad Electronic Payment Company was held at Tehran Stock Exchange. Mahmoud Gudarzi, CEO of Tehran Stock Exchange Company, announced that one million and 544 thousand people participated in the first initial offering of the stock exchange this year. He stated: In this initial offering, each person received 237 shares.

Also, at the ceremony of this initial launch, Masih Mashhadi Tafarshi, CEO of Pasargad Electronic Payment Company, said: The activity of this company is in the field of electronic payment, which operates with the license of the Central Bank.

Regarding how long it took for this company to enter the stock market, he said: The admission process started two years ago, although we were seriously looking for entry to the stock market in the last 1.5 years, until today, for the first time, our shares were listed as the 601st. The company was listed on the stock exchange. Fanap is our major shareholder, which is also a subsidiary of Pasargad Bank.

It should be noted that today 360 million shares equivalent to 12% of “Pasargad Electronic Payment” company’s shares were offered in the “Computer and related activities” section in the price list of the second market of the Tehran Stock Exchange under the symbol “PiPod” in order registration.
