The sale of the latest Apple iPhones has started in the global market and apparently these products have been well received by users. According to a new report, the sales of the iPhone 15 series in China have broken a record with a growth of over 200% compared to last year.

Many Chinese companies are making smartphones at competitive prices, so we are facing heavy competition in this market in China. However, apparently, Apple has managed to attract a lot of attention with the iPhone 15 series.

Record breaking sales of the iPhone 15 series in China

One of China’s largest online retailers, JD.com, which works with more than 4,000 Apple dealers, said the iPhone 15 series sold out in the first two hours of launch. 253% growth compared to last year.

This high growth in sales shows the high acceptance of users for the new generation of iPhones. One of the most interesting things in the published statistics is the 6-fold increase in orders for iPhones in cities with lower incomes. Despite the higher price, the iPhone 15 series seems to be popular outside of China’s main cities.

According to market analysis, the average selling price of smartphones in China has exceeded $450, and apparently this price will increase in the rest of the year. Therefore, the higher sales of iPhones in China are in line with the higher acceptance of users for more expensive phones.

iPhone 15 series phones are not different from their previous generation in terms of design, however, they use more powerful technical specifications and now all of them are equipped with USB-C port. iPhone 15 and 15 Plus use Dynamic Island, A16 Bionic chip and 48 megapixel main camera.

In iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, Apple has used the first 3 nm chip in the mobile world called A17 Pro and has also gone for titanium for their frames. Also, these products have 8 GB of RAM.
