Charso Press: Hojjatullah Seifi, a veteran cinema director who has recently received a production license for the movie “The Last Command”, explained about this project: This script is about the history of Islam and a part of the life of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). The title of the film also refers to the decree of the then king of Iran, Khosroparviz.
About when this work will be launched, he said: The time is not known yet. Such films are very expensive. When I started writing this script about three years ago and in the corona situation, to Production I have thought that too. The basic principle is that the production of this film needs support and the Islamic State should support such a project. Even now, I can only say that I hope this film will be made. When that movie was being made, I asked the upper managers about the reason for the cost of building its locations, they said that maybe you can write a script and use the same space. They even told me to go and write a screenplay. I also went and wrote, but at that time there was no listening ear for my words. Today, when I was able to write a new script in this space, I don’t see the need to do anything again and I can use the same location space.
He emphasized: When such locations are at the disposal of Iranian cinema, it is impossible if I want to pay for the construction of the space again. Why should I study another space? A wise man never repeats an experience.
This director answered that with the existing conditions for the project, is it possible that this film will never be released? He said: I don’t think about these things at all. We must always have faith. We know that whatever we do, God will reward us, and that’s why I have no fear. I have been making films since I was 12 years old and since then I have learned that you have to fight against difficulties. Hard work is always more beautiful. While climbing any mountain, your feet may get injured, but the important thing is that you know that you have to conquer the mountain. If we do our work right, God himself will help.
